Some skins rotate regularly in the Item Shop, and many players wait patiently to get them every few weeks, but there are other skins that can only be obtained during exclusive events or are part of limited-time offers. The Battle Pass is a great example of this - players have to obtain the Battle Pass and complete it while it’s available in order to receive its exclusive skins. A while back, Epic Games added another membership concept: Fortnite Crew, in which Crew members would receive exclusive cosmetic items each month. This concept was so well received by the public that some fans started asking for memberships in other games besides Fortnite.

This month’s Fortnite Crew Pack is now available in-game, and it looks just as good as January’s pack. Sylvie is the name, and she’s a threatening master smith with powerful dual-wield hammers for a harvesting tool. On top of that, she has an adorable, tiny dragon on her back that will spit out fire whenever the user opens a chest or gets an elimination. A Sylvie-themed wrap and loading screen are also included with the pack.
In the blog post announcing Sylvie’s release, Epic Games teases the next Fortnite Crew Pack and mentioned that the character joining the game would be part of Sylvie’s clan, so gamers that either subscribed in February or March would receive the Masterwork Pickaxe as a reward. According to Epic Games, they come from an ageless kingdom and their goal is to defeat the Ageless Champion - the hostile boss that wanders around the Citadel POI and attacks anyone that dares invade its territory.
This is a great way to get new skins for players that have already gone through Chapter 4 Season 1’s Battle Pass and reached level 100. On top of that, players that haven’t subscribed in a while and didn’t receive the Battle Pass for free in December as part of the subscription will receive a full refund of the 950 V-Bucks that it costs.
